Membership criteria

Applications are restricted to companies whose prime business is that of Freight Forwarder.

The Freight Forwarding Company must have been established for a minimum of one year.

The Application must be completed, signed and dated by an authorized representative of the applying Company, ensuring all questions are accurately answered. The Application must include the name and address of at least one current MPL Member as indicated on the Application Form)

Membership of MPL is at the discretion of the MPL Board of Directors

As a precondition to becoming a MPL Member, every application form must be accompanied by:
– The completed, signed, dated and company stamped MPL Code of Conduct found herein.
– A copy of your Registration of Business.
– The Application Form completed, signed, dated and stamped.
– Anti corruption document signed, dated and stamped.
– Company Logo.

By submitting the completed Application Form and the other documents requested above, the applying company is legally bound to the Terms and Conditions of The MarcoPololine Group (see below) and adheres to the highest professional conduct and ethics, which defines MPL.

Upon approval by the MPL Board of Directors, an invoice will be issued and payment must be made for the appropriate sum, within 14 date of the invoice, which is non-refundable.

As a precondition to becoming a MPL Member, every prospective Member Company is required to submit to the Board a completed Application Form, signed and dated. Upon approval by the MPL Board of Directors, payment must be made for the appropriate sum, within 14 date of the invoice, which is non-refundable.

New applications cannot be accepted when that country has the full quota of MPL representatives. In most cases the maximum quota per country is 4, with some exceptions such as China, India and The USA. 1 or 2 countries has a smaller quota for a variety of reasons.
