The American Journal of Transportation

The American Journal of Transportation has reported that air cargo from China continues to surge as it meets demands for personal protective equipment (PPE), which is creating extremely high rates. Whilst air carriers are pushing to add capacity to meet the extreme demand, ocean carriers are decreasing capacity due to the plunge in demand for moth other goods. The difference in rates between air and ocean are incredible, with air rates out of China increasing by more than 400 per cent.
