MarcoPoloLine is an authority in the field of Exporting and Importing cargo, and all the affiliated industries related to freight forwarding.

MPL has a network of offices strategically positioned in virtually every angle of the globe, giving us the advantage of being able to offer our clients a comprehensive service.

MPL evaluates the customers' requirements, provides transportation solutions designed specifically for them, whilst speeding up consignments efficiently and cost effectively, tracking every shipment through each stage from, origin to destination, whether it be by air, sea, train or road. Many companies solicit lower prices to save clients excessive costs, but MPL has gone much further by negotiating special terms with some of the largest shipping lines in the world, obtaining rates which are solely applicable to MPL. This globabl reach and financial stability enables clients to achieve economies on a scale and geographical latitude, not attainable on their own or with smaller organisations. Each and every one of the MPL offices worldwide are specialists in at least one or more fields of the Freight Forwarding industry, by air, sea, train or road.

Oceanfreight

Most of our partners are very strong in organizing shipments by seafreight, and can guarantee regular schedules to all the principal ports throughout the five continents.

Project Cargo

Project Cargo is an integral part of freight forwarding, which broadly describes national and international transportation of large, heavy, high value or critical segments of equipment.  This is sometimes referred to as Heavy Lift, and includes shipments made of various components which need disassembly for shipment and reassembly after delivery. Many MPL members are specialists and experts in handling Project Cargo. 

Airfreight

MPL provides flexible and rapid Air Forwarding services to any part of the globe. With offices worldwide, together with our geographical knowledge, we can find the shortest, safest and quickest route for your goods to get to their destination.

Ground Transportation

Some of our partners are also specialized in RORO, roll-on/roll-off with ships specifically designed to carry wheeled cargo, such as cars, trucks, trailers and railroad cars.  These need to be driven on and off the ship on their own wheels or using a platform vehicle. 

We also have members, who have their own trucks, to transport goods from the ports to their inland destinations.  In addition, many of them have their own warehouses too.

MPL Values

One of the MPL top priorities is to ensure the clients' goods or cargo arrive safely and securely at their destination.

No matter how small or large the consignment, extreme care is always taken. This encompasses special packing requirements, or the necessary precautions and documentation when transporting dangerous items, or with certain goods -fumigation.

Security is equally vital. Care is taken to the smallest detail to avoid any damage. Making certain the packaging is suitable, or in the case of containers, the size is correctly adequate. All the MPL offices worldwide, have experts that can advise clients' on the safest and most secure way to transport their merchandise. In addition, MPL will provide complete insurance cover.

Finally, MPL only uses the best and most reliable carriers with the highest reputations.

MPL Founders

MPL has three founding members, all of whom are actively involved with the Group. They got to know of each other directly or indirectly via a Conference being held at the Marco Polo Hotel in Hong Kong in 2004.  Where the idea of MPL was formed to have members with small to medium sized companies. In addition to being an inherent part of this organization, they have their own separate careers, all of which are in Freight Forwarding.

All our founders, are constantly forming new ideas on how to improve The MarcoPoloLine Group.
